More TruPatch Information
DESCRIPTION
TruPatch is a, ready-to-use, high strength acrylic patching compound, designed to mix with portland cement, for patching all asphalt and concrete surfaces. TruPatch patches set up overnight up to 1/4” thick.
USE
Tennis courts, basketball courts, and all other recreational surfaces where patching is required.
APPLICATION TOOLS
Use a standard squeegee with a 50 to 70 durometer, flexible rubber blade up to 48” in width, or a straight edge to patch low areas. Use a flat trowel or putty-knife to patch cracks.
DRYING TIME
Thin patches (up to 1/4” thick) and cracks less than 1/4” wide will dry in about hour under optimum outdoor temperature and humidity conditions. Thicker patches and larger cracks, will require a minimum of eight hours. Always allow patch to thoroughly dry to its full depth before application of Environmental Sport Surfaces Coating Systems. Depressions deeper than 1/4” must be patched in multiple applications not to exceed 1/4” each.
MIX
Place 2-1/2 gallons of TruPatch Concentrate a clean 5 gal. Pail.
Add 1/2 gallon of dry portland cement while stirring with a drill-powered paddle.
Smaller amounts (a gallon or less) may be stirred by hand with a trowel, putty-knife, or hand spade. Mix until uniform, with no lumps remaining. If too dry, adjust with a small amount of TruPatch Concentrate until a workable consistency is achieved. The mixture should be the consistency of a thick milk-shake.
For a thicker mix, up to 10 lbs. Of 50 mesh silica sand may be added per 2-1/2 gallons of TruPatch mix.
The finished product may be sanded with 12 to 20 grit sand paper or rubbed smooth with a masons rubbing stone. A floor sander is advisable for larger areas.

Yield: Approximately 100 square feet of patches (1/8" thick).
