More Super Crack Patch Binder Information
DESCRIPTION
SUPER CRACK PATCH BINDER is a high strength acrylic bonding liquid specifically designed for mixing with Portland Cement and Silica Sand or “sand mix” cement to patch asphalt and concrete cracks larger than 1/2”. SUPER CRACK PATCH BINDER enables crack patches to set rapidly (2 - 6 hours).
USE
Tennis courts, basketball courts, and all other recreational surfaces where patching is required.
APPLICATION TOOLS
Use a standard squeegee with a 50 to 70 durometer, flexible rubber blade up to 36” in width, a steel trowel, or large flexible knife.
DRYING TIME
Thin crack patches (up to ¼” in thick) will dry in about hour under optimum outdoor temperature and humidity conditions. Thicker crack patches (up to 2” in thickness) will require a minimum of eight hours. Always allow patch to thoroughly dry to its full depth before application of Environmental Sport Coating Systems.
MIX
Stir SUPER CRACK PATCH Concentrate Well Before Using
2 gals - SUPER CRACK PATCH BINDER
2 gals. - Dry Silica Sand ( – 80 mesh)
1 gal. - Portland Cement
Or
2 gals - SUPER CRACK PATCH BINDER
2 gals. - “Sand Mix” Cement
Mix Silica Sand and cement in a clean 5 gallon pail. Be sure cement is well dispersed, with no remaining lumps. Then add SUPER CRACK PATCH BINDER with agitation. Mix until uniform, with no dry mix remaining. If too dry, adjust with a small amount of SUPER CRACK PATCH BINDER, until a workable consistency is achieved. NEVER ADD WATER TO MIX.
