DESCRIPTION
DeepPatch is a, ready-to-use, high strength latex-cement patching compound specifically designed for patching all asphalt and concrete surfaces. DeepPatch patches set overnight up to 2” in thick.
USE
Tennis courts, basketball courts, and all other recreational surfaces where patching is required.
APPLICATION TOOLS
Use a standard squeegee with a 50 to 70 durometer, flexible rubber blade up to 48” in width, or a straight edge to patch low areas. Use a flat trowel or putty-knife to patch cracks.
DRYING TIME
Patches (up to 2” in thickness) and cracks less than 2” wide will dry in about 20 minutes under optimum outdoor temperature and humidity conditions. Always allow patch to thoroughly dry overnight before application of Environmental Sport Coatings. Depressions deeper than 2” must be patched in multiple applications not to exceed 2” each.
MIX
In an appropriate size container, blend the following ingredients
3 parts - DeepPatch Acrylic Polymer Cement Compound
1 part - Clean Water
Place desired quantity of DeepPatch Special Cement in a clean container (i.e. 5 gal. Pail). Be sure cement is well dispersed, with no remaining lumps. Add clean water (ratio of TruPatch to water = 3:1) while stirring with a drill-powered paddle. Smaller amounts (a gallon or less) may be stirred by hand with a trowel, putty-knife, or hand spade. Mix until uniform, with no dry mix remaining. If too dry, adjust with a small amount of water until a workable consistency is achieved. The mixture should be the consistency of a thick milk-shake. WARNING: THIS PRODUCT DRIES EXTREMELY FAST. MIX ONLY WHAT YOU CAN APPLY IN 5 MINUTES.
The finished product may be sanded with 12 to 20 grit sand paper or rubbed smooth with a masons rubbing stone. A floor sander is advisable for larger areas.
