| Does Your Court Need Leaf Relief? | |
| Autumn is a
beautiful time of year in much of the south, yet is also the time of
year many court owners dread. If your court is carved into the
landscape, surrounded by trees, I’ll bet you know exactly what I am
talking about.
Those beautiful Autumn leaves that grace our world with colors unique to this season become a major maintenance headache when they finally fall from their trees and become trapped inside our tennis court fences. This year we are offering two solutions that will help you get those leaves off of your court as fast as you can blow them. Our first method involves installing bottom-rail to your fence and raising the chain-link to create 1-1/2” gap between the court and the fence bottom where you blow the leaves. If you prefer we can install a “Leaf Gate”, which measures approximately 10’ X 8”, at the point where you can consolidate the leave and blow them under it. The first method costs $10 per running foot and the Leaf Gate costs around $500.
